Winning is just so much more fun than losing, isn't it?

Being a consistent playoff team is so much more fun than picking top 5 in the draft too.

QB Alex Smith: 4,000+ yards passing
RB Kareem Hunt: 1,000+ yards rushing
WR Tyreek Hill: 1,000+ yards receiving
TE Travis Kelce: 1,000+ yard receiving

We all saw that coming, right?

All except the top one.  I'm on record saying Alex Smith would NEVER throw for 4000 yards or 30 TD's.

You might be half right. He's only thrown for 26 TD's this year thus far (and rushed for one).

Yeah, I don't see a 4 TD game likely against Denver.

Plus, given that KC cannot improve their position by winning, we might see some back ups.  Including mahomes.

It was certainly the least likely of those 4 things. I didn't realize the most passing yards Alex ever had was 3,502 in a season. I thought he had a season or two that was closer to 4k than that, but even if you include rushing yardage his best season was 3,984. BTW, he also got 355 rushing yards this year on top of those passing yards and he did it with a game to spare.

Also, a 4k passer, 1k RB, WR, and TE on the same team has only happened one other time in NFL history, the 1981 Chargers.

Kind of surprised it never happened with early 2000s Chiefs with Green, Holmes, Kennison, and Gonzalez, but 2004 was their closest shot and Priest got hurt 8 games in. He still already had 892 yards in those 8 games.
